I expected a lot from this weekend. Misano is the track I trained on and I really liked it, I was sure that I will achieve a good result on it.
In the first lap of the first session, one of the riders crashed me and that took me out of most of the first session. Although that crash wasn’t my fault, the boss of the garage, Mr. Alex and I had a not so nice conversation about crashes that made me less confident. Despite that I managed to do 16th time in qualifying in second with 9th place being very careful not to crash.
Before the race started, coach Ribalta gave me some advices and encouraged me that also gave me some extra confidence.
The first two laps of the race were amazing, I was in a big, fast group and I expected a good fight for the top ten. Unfortunately in the third lap my fourth gear just stopped working. I had to finish the race with only three gears. I was really disappointed after the race because as I already said I could and I expected a lot.
In the end you got to have a bit of luck.
Everything came into its place, besides my bad luck, in Misano was a very special atmosphere, it is nice to hang out with the other boys from the Rookies Cup and I am really looking forward to Aragon.
